BLUE COVE PARK AND BOAT RAMP

Blue Cove Park and Boat Ramp: FAQ

Who may join the Blue Cove Association?

•  Every Blue Cove property owner (taxpayer) and resident (or annual-lease tenant w/ address in Blue Cove) may be a member.

•  Membership is entirely voluntary and renewed annually. Members are given the choice of a two-tier membership. The first tier receives all the benefits of being a Blue Cove Association member, along with a key for the Blue Cove private boat ramp, parking area, and dock. The second-tier gives you all the benefits of being a member, minus the key. New keys are tagged with the household family name.

•  Association members may invite their personal friends and family to the boat ramp and park: At least one member from the residents’ household must be present with their guests during each visit to the boat ramp and park.

•  No membership can be extended to paying visitors of a vacation rental. These visitors are not legal residents of Blue Cove and do not qualify for a membership of their own.

Key sharing:

•  Your membership is a privilege. It is unfair to other paying members to copy or lend your key to a personal guest or to anyone else. This practice is strictly prohibited and any violation will revoke your membership rights.

Boat Ramp Rules and Regulations:

•  All key-holding members are welcome to the parking area and boat ramp, every day. Key-holding members may plan family events. However, the park and boat ramp must remain accessible and unrestricted for shared use and enjoyment by the member-community at all times.

•  Gates should remain closed and locked after launching your boat, or while using the park.

•   Please observe parking rules and park your vehicle/trailer outside of the designated launching area. Signs are posted for proper parking.

•  Do not leave your boat or trailer in the park overnight, or tied to the dock for extended periods. This is a shared facility with the member-community.

•  Do not chum the waters or feed alligators, it is a State Law violation.

•  No fishing is allowed from the dock area.
